Los Gatos

A thriving modern community with a small town image.

Welcome to Los Gatos

A thriving modern community with a small town image

Los Gatos is a bustling suburb outside of San Jose, part of Silicon Valley’s fast-paced economy. The endearing town was founded in the 1850s. The name Los Gatos, or “The Cats,” comes from the Spanish phrase la rinconada de los gatos, or “The Corner of the Cats,” because of the native bobcats and cougars in the area. Over the years, Los Gatos served as a hub for many industries and even became renowned as an art colony.

It is now home to many notable high-tech companies, making it an excellent place for tech-focused careerists to settle down. There is a quaint downtown with lots of unique shops and eateries, but Los Gatos offers everything one could want in city life.
